Terms of Service

Last updated: April 30, 2026 — Please read these terms carefully before using jobaye.

1. Introduction

Welcome to jobaye ("we," "us," or "our"). jobaye is an intermediary platform that enables users to share job opportunities, create professional profiles, and connect with employers (the "Platform").

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and jobaye. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use our Platform, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Not have been previously banned or suspended from the Platform
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

You are solely responsible for all activity conducted under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at contact@coderzon.com.

3. Nature of the Platform

jobaye is an intermediary platform that facilitates connections between users, employers, and job opportunities. We provide the technology that enables the exchange of job-related information; we do not create, control, or guarantee the content posted by users or third parties.

  • We do not create job listings.
  • We are not a recruitment agency, employer, or hiring partner.
  • We do not act as agent for any employer or candidate.
  • We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee the authenticity, accuracy, or legitimacy of any job posting, employer, or user on the Platform.
  • We do not guarantee any job outcomes — including offers, interviews, or responses.

Use at your own risk: users access and use job listings, profiles, and interactions with other users entirely at their own risk. You are responsible for evaluating the legitimacy and trustworthiness of any opportunity or party before engaging.

4. User Accounts

Account Creation

You may register using your email address and password, or through Google Sign-In. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.

Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account credentials. Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing and are never stored in plain text. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

Multiple or Fake Accounts

Creating fake accounts, multiple accounts, or impersonating another person is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaged in such conduct.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent or illegal activity, or fails to comply with applicable laws.

5. User Content and Responsibility

5.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you post, upload, or share on the Platform.

5.2 License to Us

By posting content, you grant jobaye a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, display, perform, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the Platform.

5.3 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for any content you post, upload, or share. You represent and warrant that your content:

  • Does not infringe any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, or publicity rights
  • Is legally permitted to be shared and was obtained through lawful means
  • Is accurate, truthful, and not misleading
  • Does not contain personal information of others without their consent
  • Complies with all applicable laws (including the Information Technology Act, 2000, and rules thereunder)

6. Public Content & Third-Party Content

Information you choose to make public — including profile details, posts, job listings, comments, and projects — may be visible to other users and, in some cases, publicly accessible on the internet. You should not share sensitive personal information that you do not want to be publicly viewable.

The Platform may contain content sourced or shared from third-party platforms, websites, or external sources. We do not control, verify, endorse, or take responsibility for the accuracy, legality, or quality of such third-party content.

7. Job Listings and Applications

Employer Obligations

  • Post only genuine, lawful job opportunities
  • Provide accurate company and role information
  • Not charge applicants any fees, deposits, or payments at any stage of the hiring process
  • Not request payments, sensitive financial information (e.g., bank details, OTPs, card details), or personal documents beyond what is reasonably required for the role
  • Comply with all applicable employment, anti-discrimination, and labor laws

Job Seeker Obligations

  • Provide accurate personal and professional information
  • Apply only to roles that match your skills and qualifications
  • Conduct your own due diligence on employers and opportunities before sharing personal information
  • Report suspicious listings or fraudulent behaviour to us

Platform Disclaimer

We do not verify job listings, employer identities, or the accuracy of any information posted on the Platform. We are not responsible for employer conduct, hiring decisions, salary negotiations, employment terms, or any disputes arising from the employer-candidate relationship.

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Post fake, misleading, fraudulent, or scam jobs
  • Upload copyrighted material without permission from the rights holder
  • Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, hateful, harassing, threatening, or invasive of privacy
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Harass, abuse, stalk, or threaten other users
  • Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or automated systems to access or extract data from the Platform
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, networks, or data
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Platform, servers, or networks
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Platform
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations, including the Information Technology Act, 2000

Violations may result in immediate account suspension, content removal, and reporting to appropriate authorities.

9. Content Moderation

We may, but are not obligated to, review, moderate, edit, or remove content at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or our community standards.

Users may report inappropriate content using the in-app reporting feature. Repeat or serious violations may result in permanent account suspension. We may also cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory authorities when required.

10. Copyright & Takedown Policy

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any content on the Platform infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please send a written notice to contact@coderzon.com with the following information:

  • A clear identification of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property you claim has been infringed
  • The exact URL or location of the allegedly infringing content on our Platform
  • Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the rights holder, agent, or law
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on the rights holder's behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Upon receiving a valid notice, we will promptly investigate and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Job listings may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. We do not guarantee job offers, interview opportunities, employer responses, or any specific outcomes from your use of the Platform.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, jobaye, its affiliates, owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Platform shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any), or (b) ₹1,000 (Indian Rupees One Thousand only).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless jobaye, its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Content you post, upload, or share on the Platform
  • Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law
  • Your infringement of any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
  • Your use of, or interaction with, the Platform, other users, or third parties
  • Any misrepresentation or breach of warranty made by you

14. Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Platform — with or without notice — for violations of these Terms, fraudulent or illegal activity, or any reason we determine necessary to protect users, the Platform, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your account settings. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, indemnification, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution — will continue to apply.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts located in Ernakulam (Kochi), Kerala shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform.

16. Grievance Officer

In compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules thereunder, we have designated a Grievance Officer to address user complaints. Complaints will be acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days from the date of receipt.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or by email where appropriate. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
